Sam earned a Bachelor of Science degree in criminal justice administration from Park University and a Master of Science degree in administration from Central Michigan University
He served over 20 years in the United States Air Force with deployments to Afghanistan, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Panama, and South Korea.
He owned Peters Family Insurance in Las Vegas
He founded the Law Enforcement Loyalty PAC dedicated to supporting police officers throughout the state
He lives with his wife, Melissa, and two children in Las Vegas, Nevada
