WinRed Revamps Account Status Options for Users
WinRed has drastically simplified the account closure process, allowing users to disable an account in a few clicks, pause a state-level account temporarily or customize ...
WinRed has special features to help compliance users get the reporting data they need and process different types of donations.
Here are ten key features you need to know about:
Receive payout reports with the exact columns and information you need.
Access the payout customizer by navigating to the Payout Reports tab in the Accounting section.

We’ve made a big push to bring feature parity between conduit and merchant accounts, so you can pull and download all the information you need no matter the type of account.
As a reminder, federal committees can choose a Conduit or Merchant account when signing up for WinRed.

Merchant accounts now have a summary section at the top of the Ledger tab.
This feature allows merchant accounts to view a summary of donations, refunds, disputes, and payouts across the entire WinRed account.

Eligible committees can accept donations from Businesses and PACs.
Reach out to the team to use this feature, and then you can toggle it on for the Donation Pages you choose or a WinRed Storefront.

Enabling Entry Mode on a page allows staff to input donor information and process contributions on a donor’s behalf.
When using Entry Mode, your saved information will not populate into the donor fields even if you are logged into a WinRed account.

Every WinRed account can create pages specifically for their high dollar fundraising.
These pages charge a special lower processing rate of 3.2%, which means more money in your campaign account to help you win.

WinRed allows you to process ACH donations with a lower processing fee of 0.8%, capped at $5 per transaction. The minimum ACH donation amount is $100.
Enable this feature on a WinRed account by contacting the WinRed team. After that, you can add this payment option on a page-by-page basis.

Campaigns can choose not to require a donor email address to process donations on High Dollar or Entry Mode pages.

The Auto Block tool allows committees to block donors automatically once they reach an organization’s maximum contribution amount.
This means that you no longer need to manually add supporters to the Blocked Donors tab or refund donors that give more than an annual maximum.
Note: Please reach out to the WinRed team to use this feature.

Donations refunded on the same day can have the processing fee refunded.
To qualify, the refund must occur within the same day as defined by UTC (7 PM EST/8 PM EDT), and it must be a full refund. Partial refunds cannot have their fees waived.
Donations made on regular pages and high-dollar pages qualify for same-day refunds.
