Introducing Control Groups — An Enhancement for Dynamic Amounts

The launch of Dynamic Amounts across the platform unlocked a powerful, new tool that allows campaigns to customize donation button amounts based on the individual donor visiting the page. 

There is a lot to unpack in this feature and many ways to use it. Because of the depth, we kept getting asked what’s the best way to measure performance? How do we know how much it’s helping?

Control Groups

When you are using Dynamic Amounts you will be able to designate a holdback percentage. That means whatever percent you designate will not see the modified button amounts, but rather they will see the default amounts on the page.
