WinRed today is marking its three-year anniversary as the premiere online fundraising technology platform utilized by Republicans.
Launched in June 2019, WinRed had a big mission: counter and exceed Democrats’ small-dollar fundraising technology advantage. Three years in, WinRed is now a critical infrastructure layer for over 5,000 campaigns and has processed almost $3 billion with an average donation of just over $40.

WinRed’s growth exceeds that of ActBlue: WinRed processed its first $2 billion in its first 15 months – while it took ActBlue 15 years to reach that volume. Campaigns on WinRed enjoy features nobody else has that raise them more money:

- $270 million came from WinRed’s Slate feature that allows campaigns across the country to fundraise together

- WinRed’s innovative Zero-Touch Merchandise program processed $116.9 million in the three years since launching

Due to this incredible growth and ability to scale, WinRed lowered its processing fees last year to 3.94%, making it cheaper than ActBlue and helping GOP campaigns save millions of dollars this election year.
